Problem
The task was to move from a dataset to a decision: establish what the data can and cannot support, then commit to a recommendation that survives scrutiny.

Analyst and author — analysis, interpretation and the written recommendation.

Approach
Statistical analysis of the case dataset, followed by a deliberate translation step: which findings are strong enough to act on, and how they should be communicated to a decision-maker.

The analytical work is only half of it. The harder discipline is data storytelling: keeping the recommendation tied to what the evidence actually shows.
A recommendation is only as good as the evidence it stays tied to.
