Approach

Diagnose,
build, measure.

Structured commercial problem-solving: research the problem, structure it, analyse it, decide, build, and say plainly what is proven and what is still conceptual.

  1. Diagnose

Understand the problem, people, evidence and commercial context.

Output: Problem definition and evidence base.

  2. Build

Turn the analysis into an operating model, workflow, recommendation or testable concept.

Output: Something practical enough to review or use.

  3. Measure

Define what evidence should determine the next decision.

Output: Validation plan, learning and recommended next step.

Experience

Nairobi to Maastricht: building, learning, then building again.

It started with 4+ years of running day-to-day operations, then came the formal tools and international exposure. Now I bring both the operator mindset and the analytical training into a larger organisation.

  1. Nairobi

    Where it all began.

  2. Retail operations & merchandising

Started during COVID in 2020 and managed through 2025: sourcing, pricing, inventory, sales, customer relationships and staff coordination. At its busiest the operation employed three people. I handed over day-to-day management when I relocated, and the business continues under new management.

  3. Finance

    First grounding in finance thinking.

  4. BSc Finance

    Co-operative University of Kenya.

  5. Finance internship, National Cereals and Produce Board

Nakuru, 2023–2024. Preparing and analysing financial reports to support business decisions, and identifying cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities.

  6. The Netherlands

A new country, a new culture, and a much wider frame of reference.

  7. Master in Management

    Maastricht. Strategy and research.

  8. Strategy, digital, analytics

M-Pesa corridor strategy, GreenStride digital transformation, and quantitative research.

  9. Product & marketplace execution

NYVé Travel and Bomba Safi Cleaners: marketplace design, partner acquisition and digital product work.

  10. Next chapter

An international organisation to build inside.

A little about me

I like understanding how a business works, and making it work better.

Running a boutique while studying taught me to make decisions with real consequences: what to stock, who to hire and how to keep customers coming back.

My background in Finance and Management gives that practical experience an analytical foundation. I enjoy work where I can understand a problem, bring people together and follow through on the details.

Beyond the work

Outside the work.

I’m drawn to new places, conversations and experiences. Fashion is one way I express myself; travel is another way I explore. Here’s a small glimpse of life beyond the projects.
